Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) software has undergone testing in various scenarios, including situations where it must stop for a child crossing the street. However, in some tests, the Tesla vehicle failed to recognize and respond appropriately to a child-sized mannequin simulating a child running towards a school bus.

Tesla’s FSD runs over child mannequin, but it’s not to blame. It is noted that the driver has a partial responsibility as no FSD system is entirely autonomous; human intervention is necessary. Additionally, there is an analysis of how the software performs in different circumstances.
